Reading & Social Area
Young children who develop better reading skills do so for this reason – lots of talking. Communication with children results in the child knowing many more words. The good news is that helping a preschool aged child is simple. By engaging kids in rich stories and having meaningful conversations with them, we help improve their oral language skills, which will eventually help them become better readers. During these times the children also have opportunity to interact with each other while reflecting on the stories and related activities.
